TUTOR ROOMS, QUADS, GROUP STUDY ROOMS, MEETING ROOMS, CONFERENCE ROOMS, AND TECHNOLOGY SPACES typically offer monitors and white boards, though amenities vary by location. AV recording/editing equipment is also available at many locations with a prior reservation. Anyone age 13 and older (Tech Spaces age 16 and older) may reserve one of these spaces up to 90 days in advance by calling the AskMe Line at 937.463.2665, or in person at the AskMe Desk. After Hours Access resumes on August 16, 2021
COMMUNITY ROOMS are available for anyone over the age of 18, and offer a variety of amenities such as overhead projectors, integrated sound systems and white boards, which vary by location. Many Community Rooms are available for before-and-after Library hours use, if reserved at least three weeks (up to one year) in advance (must be 21). Community Room reservations are made by completing a COMMUNITY ROOM LICENSE AGREEMENT at the preferred facility/location, up to 90 days in advance. Fees apply for Community Room use; however, during designated hours, IRS verified 501(c)3-11 organizations and Ohio school systems serving youth PreK-Grade 12 may qualify for free Community Room use. Walk-ins are welcome if the Community Room is not in use for a Library program or a confirmed reservation. See Our Spaces

The MAIN LIBRARY offers unique spaces in addition to Group Study Rooms, Quads, Meeting Rooms, Conference Rooms and Technology Spaces. Two versatile performance spaces (The Eichelberger Forum and the Bassani Theater Off Third) are available for concerts, forums, film screenings, author readings, theatrical performances and other cultural events. These venues, as well as the Main Library’s three-story Atrium, Community Rooms and the Board Room, may be rented for private events. The MAIN LIBRARY GREEN SCREEN ROOM and EDITING SUITES provide the tools for video and audio production, with industry standard video, sound and lighting equipment. Produce songs, beats and jingles, as well as import, repair, process and master audio files. The Editing Suites are also equipped with video editing, compression and graphic tools to process video for digital and online destinations.
The GREEN SCREEN ROOM (Main, 2nd Floor) & EDITING SUITES (Main. 1st Floor) can be reserved in two hour increments, with a maximum of four hours per day. Reserve time in advance by calling 937.463.2665. You may make reservations up to 90 days in advance. If available, you may make same-day reservations using the signup sheet at the second floor Ask Me Desk. If there are no other reservations, you may sign up for additional time at the second floor Ask Me Desk. Please note, your reservation may be given away if unclaimed within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time.
The Northwest Branch Library has an AV LAB that can be reserved similarly to the Main Library AV resources, simply call 937.463.2665 to make your reservation. While the Brookville, Kettering-Moraine, Miamisburg, Miami Township, New Lebanon, Southeast, Vandalia, West Carrollton, and Wilmington-Stroop Branch Libraries have AV CARTS available for public use upon request. It is recommended you call 937.463.2665 and ask to Reserve a Room and an AV Cart at a Your Branch Library and the cart can be moved to the space you have reserved.

OPPORTUNITY SPACES are available for residents of varying length (generally three weeks to three months) for collaborations, participatory activities and educational/interactive exhibits.
