Need HELP? Homework Help Assistants and DML volunteers are standing by, ready to help! Students in K-12 can visit a Homework Help Center at available Branch Libraries to get help with homework and school projects, or to get extra practice in a subject area of their choice. There are also free STEAM activities, educational games, and reading coaching for students without homework or for those who finish their homework early. Computers are available for use and printing is free!

Your Library has so many options for quality, age-appropriate, FREE online learning. We’ve sorted out a sampling of some of our favorites.

Meet our Homework Help Centers Team!

Cynthia WoodruffCynthia Woodruff became the Homework Help Center’s Manager in 2022. Her career with Dayton Metro Library began in 2018 as a Patron Services Assistant at the Trotwood Branch, and has continued to grow since, in a variety of different positions. Cindy graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree and is a certified meditation teacher. She is an active volunteer for Lasagna Love and in her free time, she enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her family.

Daria Dillard StoneDaria Dillard Stone has been the Parent Engagement Liaison for the Dayton Metro Library since July 2017. She serves in the Rock Your Homework/Homework Help Center, equipping and engaging students while encouraging parents to be the champion of their STAR (smart, talented, awesome, respected) student(s). She has a passion for making education a priority and brings a wealth of experience to DML from multiple community organizations: Dayton Urban League, Preschool Promise, Parents Advancing Choice in Education/PACE, and Dayton Public Schools.
