A dog mom of three unruly beasts, she enjoys biking, hiking, writing, and traveling.

Assistant Branch Manager, Jason Long

He has served on a variety of Library committees and community engagement partnerships. He holds degrees from Sinclair Community College and Indiana Wesleyan University, and earned his MLIS from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Jason enjoys reading nonfiction and memoirs and is an avid enthusiast of sports, pop culture, and outdoor recreational activities.

Community Connection

The Northmont Branch is a true community partner - reaching out to the neighborhood and welcoming multiple organizations to explore the resources available. Business Expos with the Northmont Area Chamber of Commerce, community festivals at the YMCA, and participation in the Englewood and Aullwood's Audubon Farm Festivals get our Librarians out and active in the community. With educational partners young and old, the Branch welcomes children from the Kleptz YMCA for summer storytimes, offers Take It & Read sites for children, brings literacy programs to youth at area daycares and through the Northmont Schools, and welcomes Sinclair Community College to help register students for classes.

Facilities

The Northmont Branch Library needs more programming room than available in the current leased space. Site options to serve patrons from Englewood, Clayton, and the surrounding area are under consideration.
