Branch Manager, Yoonmee Hampson

Branch Manager, Yoonmee Hampson

Yoonmee Hampson joined Dayton Metro Library in May 2022. Serving diverse communities and bringing the world to patrons through books, materials, and services are two of the many things she loves about being a librarian. Yoonmee earned her B.A. in English Literature from Smith College and her MLIS from the University of Maryland, College Park. When she’s not at the library, you can find her sitting in the sunshine reading, playing with her cats, and lifting weights at the gym.

Staff - Branch Highlight

The Trotwood Branch Library strives to be a comfortable space and a vital resource for the community. Engaged Branch Staff offer a variety of programs for all age groups, birth to adult, from learning activities to topics of public interest. Computer assistance is available in both classroom settings and one-on-one appointments to meet the needs of the individual. We will continue to grow with Trotwood as we find new ways to inform, inspire, and enrich the community!

Community Connection

A vital partner in the Trotwood community, the Branch is an active participant in many community events including National Night Out and the Family Reunion Weekend. The Trotwood Branch is an active partner with Trotwood-Madison City Schools, as well as many other educational and childcare facilities in the area. You can frequently find staff providing outreach services at the schools or in conjunction with other community partners. During the summer, the Branch is one location where children can get free lunches provided by Trotwood-Madison City Schools.
